The client at Mereworth wanted us to design a new creative work studio in a very awkward underutilised corner of the garden.

The design maximised all of the available space, utilising the original curved garden wall as an integral feature and creating a contemporary covered porch and integrated bench facing into the garden.

Externally clad in zinc and cedar and internally with fitted plywood furniture and simple frameless roof lights.
